PART I

Although gayjoystick.com was created to review and critique adult gay videos, and websites so that you know what is hot and what you should not spend your money on, I am compelled tell but a VERY small piece of this current drama. After all, it has a GREAT deal to do with the porn industry. It involves one of our hottest (if not the most recognizable) porn stars, Brent Corrigan, death, manipulation, and theatrical melodrama.

Screenwriters, toil, and spend years attempting to compose such a beautifully fucked up plot, with such distasteful characters, only to end in frustration. I think this is actually a very important piece of gay history, (sad as it is), and this colorful cast of disgusting, and yet somehow like-able characters are performing their life opera of hubris, death, and maybe redemption, right before our theater starved eyes.

Vicariously we can watch, while the beautiful, the vain, the manipulative, selfish, hateful, confused, incarcerated, hated, scorned, and still (almost impossibly) loved, destroy each other. The best thing about this right now, is that we don’t know how it will all end. This melodrama continues now, and none of us knows just how or when the finale will occur.

For those of you who don’t know, our story begins in 2003 when a young, bright eyed, and beautiful 16 yr old boy named Sean Lockhart kicks open the L.A. closet door with his own brand of patented stilettos.

He came, (as he puts it) “… I wanted to direct and I had a lot of interest in the artistic side of it (film). I figured if I’m going to do it anywhere, southern California is the fucking place to do it. That was my big lure so I thought I’d come here, do my two years in high school, get residency established then go to UCLA or something of that degree.”

He then met his first “older” boyfriend whom Lockhart states “[My boyfriend] introduced me to a lifestyle that wasn’t very fitting of a 16-year-old. He was nothing but the worst influence on me. But I thought this is what gay people did. I didn’t know that most of the gay community isn’t into drugs and being evil to each other; that there is a side of the gay community that actually takes care of each other.”

Now at this point you thinking one of two things about Mr. Lockhart.

1. He is just a naive and lovely young person who got caught up with the wrong crowd (OR)
2. My god! that kid is a manipulative little asshole.

At this point, either one can be true.

Back to the story…

So, Lockhart’s “bad, old” influence “manipulated” this boy into modeling for a friend of his named Bryan Kocis who owned a well known studio named Cobra. Lockhart then starred in his first porn video called “Every Poolboy’s Dream”, which many people own illegal downloaded copies of.

Do you see how perfect this story begins? The studio is named after the deadliest viper on the planet! You just can’t make up garbage like this.
